On March 17th , 2002 an Antichristian project of Black Metal was formed by Lord BlackStorm, Saglarieth and Morgorgoat at that time they decided to call the band: "Diabolical Mist". The band was influenced by the old Black Metal bands like: Mayhem, Ulver, Burzum, Darkthrone. So, they started to play Black Metal like the old school. They composed and wrote five unrecorded tracks that will be recorded later in a demo-tape.

In August 2002 all the music estructure was changed then, but this time influenced by bands like: Dark Funeral, Setherial, Infernal, Odhinn and In Battle basically by Swedish Black Metal, they got a new extreme and brutal style called by themselve Antichristian Brutal Black Metal, Saglarieth began to create riffs with more brutality than the old ones and it was when they decided to change the name of the band to Septic Moon. Saglarieth also composed seven songs wich only five were recorded, a new age was approached to the band.

After the name changed on October 19th The Magnus Emperator in Bass and Terrorbiozer in Rythm Guitar joined to Septic Moon in that time they decided to concentrate in the recording of the CD-Demo after two concerts. In February 2003 they began to record the Demo and at the same time Emperator was fired from the band because he didn’t attend completely his work in the band also because he had other things to do with Terrorem. In March 2003 the Demo was edited and was completely released with the name of "Eternal Oath To The Goat" with seven tracks.

On June 28th Terrorbiozer was fired from the band, he didn’t attend to the band completely and he couldn’t reach the level of Saglarieth, he did a good job but not good enough.

On September 3rd Morgorgoat decided to leave the band by personal reasons, after the exit of Morgorgoat Zephiroth from Evil Poetry joined to Septic Moon on September 9th.

At 2005 after a few gigs performed on different cities of the Mexican Republic, Septic Moon recorded another unreleased CD-Demo called "Black Requiems Of An Endless Chaos" which was a totally mess, because of the sound quality and inner troubles between saglarieth and and Lord BlackStorm.

After that, Saglarieth decided to leave the band. Lord Blackstorm changed his nickname to Shadowbuilder by personal reasons and take the guitars to compose new songs. After few months Deathbearer and Neocroner joined to Septic Moon.

Septic Moon reappeared at Antichristian Black Metal Fest IV with the new line up. Weeks after that, Abaddon joined to Septic Moon to complete the five elements of the pentagram which would bring The Beast alive again!

The full lenght CD debut "The Silent Breath Of Evil" is done and ready to kick some asses and brains!!!
