Biography:

Formed in 1985, Salem is the only rock/metal band in Israel that has been active for nineteen years straight. During which time the band has released three demos, five albums: Creating Our Sins(Morbid rec), Kaddish(Morbid Records), A Moment Of Silence(BNE), Collective Demise(KMG/System Shock) and Strings Attached(Master Disk), two singles: Dying Embers and Al taster, a live DVD: Live Demise, their controversial music has found its way to discussion in the Israeli parliament, band members received bombs in the mail due to their uncompromising ideology to count just a few events in the time line of Salem's existence. In 2004 Salem was the first death metal band in history to play a 150 minute long show. Salem signed a record contract with French monster label Season of Mist. The new album "Necessary Evil" will be released in the first quarter of 2007.
