Ah, what can i write about this Genocide '71! its a great one of a kind effort to say the least, awesome intention, album cover and absolutely perfect releasing time.
Ostitto
Perishment : Bringer Of Purity - heh this lyrics is one of my finest work Click here to enlarge thus my expectation was pretty high and Ostitto has reached my bar of expectation with ease Ostitto's killer riffs, with mighty growls (specially catchy yet rich choruses) from Mukit bhai is the signature of the band and with this track they have proved it once again, i really liked the way the whole composition has kept itself compact, nice catchy transition path ( 1:23 min -) which eventually helped the listeners to concentrate only on the lead, the lead wasn't that great but good enough and has served the feel it should have served, nothing to complain about bass its been played accordingly and that's good enough for me when it comes to these type of songs, the only thing which could have been better is the drumming (ya many may think that its aggressive enough and thats what matters when it comes to death metal heh with all due respects dude you are wrong ) I didn't like the drum tones plus it was predictable, monotonous, i felt like that they didn't put much of a thought on the drumming and one thing for sure i shouldn't felt like this when i am listening to Ostitto's track, anyways great outro and overall the track gets 9/10 from me
We Mourn - ah This track clearly shows the maturity of the band, nothing to complain awesome stuff from the start to end, pure f*cking respects m/
Chromatic Massacre
Rayerbazar - i have always believed in Baezid bhai's guitar skills but wasn't getting the perfect representation of his skill, finally i have found it this track has it, what a riff man absolutely jaw-breaking with some decent lyrics (although i don't believe in using slangs in lyrics), intense growling and drumming (although sometimes i felt like overdone drumming Click here to enlarge) to back it up, the solo was also top notch it clearly represented that essential chaotic feel (which was pretty respectable, to be honest wasn't expecting something like it) although that feel of the solo got ruined at 2:34 min through typed unnecessary dragging, loved the slow part just after the solo and the fast pick up of aggression after that, overall an awesome track which has raised the standard of Chromatic Massacre sky high.
Chautraak - to be honest i didn't liked the track at all poor lyrics although the riffs were okay, overall i really don't know why but i felt like listening to a mess sorry
Inner Holocaust - heh i wont label it as extreme metal or anything cause its not but they have done a great job (as a simple song again not as extreme metal or anything) out of this crappy lyrics of mine and i salute Chromatic Massacre for that, i mean just look at lyrics the lyrics itself is a big ********ing emo festival "stranger just talk to me i wouldn't be surprised" "stranger just talk to me i am not a demon inside" give me break.. again a nice track and i really liked the intro Piano part
these are all my thoughts on the album and most of the time i tend to get way over my head so don't take my words as gospel
