These death grind monsters have been grinding it out up north of England in Hull city concocting up a brew of death grind that makes this reviewer salvate!!! Its got just about everything i love about death metal grind on one cd!

What we have here is a 6 track e.p. featuring 4 new tracks and 2 tracks taken from a 2008 promo that the band released themselves. Opening Salvo " Cataclysmic Transmogrification" (try saying that when your drunk) is one of the most ferocious tracks i think ive heard this year! Technicality with absolute brutal slamming breakdowns much akin i guess to Devourment with the technicality of Malignancy. Much like the latter band mentioned the music is ever shifting and morphing into a mutant beast that just rips your fuckin` head off.

The drumming on offer here is blasting as hell but injected with a lot of creativity. Just listen to the cymbal work. Amazing. And if its blasts your looking for, well this guy does `em all in all styles, and whats nice about the whole thing is that his kit sounds so natural and to me that's class as I'm not overly struck on over processed drums. The guitars have an extremely chunky and quite rusty chainsaw-esque sound to them although i would have maybe liked them turned up a little bit more so in the mix to hear more so whats going on with them for like the drums, it sounds like there is a lot going on. The bass provides a nice solid backbone amidst the chaos, though i always like to hear the bass a little bit more and this is no different. But its there for sure. The vocalist of the band, Chris Reese, shreds his vocals chords till he is gurgling blood as he goes from searing highs to the lowest of gutturals. Whilst their music is of very high technical ability its cool to see that their tune`s lyrical content is of a rather `tongue in cheek nature` as their songs are about fucking your fat sister, big bollocks and pissing out your insides through your cock. What more could you ask for!?

You can also hear these guys on Paul from Cerebral Bore`s Dead Haggis Vol 1 compilation. One of the best bands in the UK today hands down, my only complaint is that there was only 6 tracks and I'm left wanting more. Try "Scrotalitarian" and "Pissing Entrails" for size, those are sure to rip your face off. A fantastic addition to the Amputated Vein roster and one of the most horrifying cover artwork pieces i seen in a bit. Very Human Centipede vibe to it. Nasty stuff.
