Peruvian black metal band formed in the dark 1,993 under the name of FUNERAL MIST.

In the middle of 1,994 the band change the name by ILLAPA that in history of the Pagan Andes means the "god of the thunderclap" and it represents our god and last destiny.

In 1,996 the band made his first debut CD called "Deshonestos y Hechiceros" Probably the first black metal band with songs in Spanish.

The band through more than a decade of existence has defined his beliefs in the andes astral traditions, beliefs in the continuation of rituals into remote towns of the andes.
