What I have here is the second demo from the black metal horde called Hader. The band comes from the great country of Germany. This demo has a total running time of more than 30 minutes and despite of the fact that it is only a demo release I’m impressed by its quality and the whole design/cover art. It is very much a hateful and traditional, yet melodic piece of the most dark and obscure black metal. The lyrics are in German which makes it a bit hard to understand; on the other hand it adds this mysterious and fantastic atmosphere that this language can produce. The best songs from this awesome dics are "I.N.R.I." (I hope everyone knows what does it stands for and that anyone can guess what subject it is dealing with?!) and the closing one "Sterne" which according to my limited knowledge of German should mean something like ‘the star’. No matter how you turn it and twist it, I find this CD kind of relaxing compared to may other black metal cd’s coming my way in the last year or so. It is impressive, atmospheric, melodic and with perfect sound, typical for this genre. What more is there to ask for? If you’re a fan of black metal in general this is the perfect choice to add to your collection
