'Art Brut' is an extremely violent and deranged form of art masterly performed, they say, by sickos such as serial killers, rapists, mass murderes and, who knows, your neighbour. Regarding the title of this MCD and songs as 'Formole Lust', 'Instinctive Addiction to Cannibalism' and 'I fuck you dead' it becomes quite clear with what we are dealing. Fleshart plays technical, guttural death metal in the vein of acts as Devourment, Deeds of Flesh, Broken Hope and Cannibal Corpse. They have the technical skills, the production is very decent but what stands out the most are the ultra low growls of their vocalist. No high pitched (and sometimes irritating) screams here, just a butchering throat, heavy as fukk!

The album contains four tracks including a Banished cover ('cast out the flesh') and comes with a very professional and 'nice' layout, hehe. Interesting fact is that the release was done by Grindethic Records, a new and promising label (and distro bulging with grind/death!) run by one of the guys of Gorerotted. And knowing the reputation of that band I seriously want to see some of their next releases. Check out this band and their label!
