Electronic Experimental Dark Metal One man band from the UK that mixes elements of extreme metal with folk / pagan touches. The vocals are dark and aggressive and leans towards the black metal style. Heavy and melodic song structures with keyboard passages that lend great atmosphere. Nice fusion of the styles!

TERRORIZER MAGAZINE (England) (NICK MOBERLY - (7)) Track number three on Ewigkeit's third release is entitled 'Not All There', and having digested this album, many conventionally minded types might be considering that to be a succinct description of protagonist Mr Fog's mental state. More dreamy, mellow and diverse than its predecessor, 'Starscape', the new work sees the black metal tethers being snipped altogether and the whole project drifting out on a more capricious path. The bizarreness reaches its apogee on the title track, which cavorts from its uptempo beginnings into a lumbering ragbag of trickery and innovation. Elsewhere, you'll come across plenty of doomy, retro vibes ('Interlude') and some sleazy blues-rock ('Supersonic Blue Thunder') on your way to the surreal melancholia of the wistful 'Escapologies'. It must be said that the music deserves more than the blanket-like, homemade production, which is stifling Mr Fog's vision, and the vocals need to come through more powerfully. Where Ewigkeit will go from here is anyone's guess, but it's been a perilous and hair- raising journey. Creating music without caring a fig for convention is not easy, and 'Land Of Fog' is certainly a valiant attempt.
