Listening to the Split CD E.T.T.S vs. Fecal Corpse is like the shit I had a couple of nights ago. I was sitting on the can reading an article about that spoiled rich sports fiend by the name of James Dolan, when I gave birth to a marvelous turd. Standing up with my shorts and boxers around my ankles I peered between my legs to see it was the size of a black oil tanker. After stewing in its stench for another 15 minutes to finish the article, I flushed the toilet, but no drain sound followed. Instead, my ball sack got quickly drowned in cool fecal water then my floating brown bacteria barge hit my right ball filling me with shivers. I got off the toilet in a flurry to see that the shit never made it down the pipe, for it had broken in two thereby creating a back up, which sent water precariously to the toilets inner rim. I grabbed the plunger and placed it into the bowl causing water to spill over the edge. My jabbing with the plunger made more water tip out that soaked my shorts and boxers still clinging to my ankles, but I got the turd to flush. Then I used my soiled clothes to soak up the shit water all over the bathroom floor. Overall the experience was disgusting, but somehow gratifying like listening to E.T.T.S. and Fecal Corpse.

E.T.T.S. is first on the Split. They gurgle in vocal heaves like a newborn baby sucking milk out of a cows pink nipple. The guitars lurch and roll in a putrid tidal wave crusted with peas and peanuts soaked in butter. This style gives the music an exceptional groove that will make your head bob crazily in-between donkey punches to the back of your old ladies head. Drums are lively as a speedball in a catchy clamorous style like a 300-pound fatty using Anna Nicole Smith’s dead chest as a trampoline. The bass is nicely audible in the mix with a repulsive roll reminding me of watching a game of polo where a human head was the ball.

Overall E.T.T.S. does a great job of combining elements of Lord Gore with Carcass to create a vibrant sound rooted in the feel of a large swirling turd trapped in my hallway bathroom toilet. The production is exceptional and the mix is balanced making it possible to hear all the instruments. E.T.T.S. are infectiously fun enough that if I was still living in Arizona I’d cruise for skag hookers north and south on 27th avenue or off of Van Buren street with their music as a fucking theme.

Where E.T.T.S. is fun, Fecal Corpse is filthy delight. Were I into brown showers they would be the band I played. The vocals are deep enough that they are not in your face. No, they are in your chest beating, pounding, and crushing your lungs and heart with mashed fists. Drums mostly play in mid tempo’s that sometimes delve into fast in a sound that is soggier than a tampon soaked in blood and yeast infection dough. The bass bulges in beefy plods like a Congressman’s cock in tight jeans as he scans kiddies at the local playground. Meanwhile the guitars keep the stalking pace in timbering distorted mayhem up and down the fret board with languid strumming precision blended into the noxious recipe...

Fans should be ordering this slab of gore from their favorite label or from the bands themselves. Either way this disc is a fun experience sure to make your adventures with shit, sex, sodomy, and serial murder exhilarating. ENJOY FUCKERS!!!!
