Here we are to present and review the Latest ENCLAVE(POL) Work - Paradise of Putrefaction, spreading their Terrorizing Black Metal at Best! Another great release to come out from Polish Soils, a band to keep a good eye/ear on in the future times... taste the smell of a thousand rotten corpses!
"Descent into the Temple of Opposition"
From Kraków Poland comes Enclave with their debut "Paradise of Putrefaction", an album full of deeply Dark Witchcrafted Atmospheres of Darkened Splendours. By listening to this album you can almost taste the stench of a thousand Christian Rotting corpses... a Paradise of Putrefaction! Enclave escape from traditional Black Metal redundancy with the add of some Ferocious Polish Death Metal elements and Sinister Epic Aura, elements that in fact get them out of the pack in the genre. The Production of the album is really good like many Polish bands have got us used to these days, a mark of quality indeed. So don't expect any analogue recordings like some claiming to be the true way to record Black Metal.
For a debut release Enclave sure reveal a good pack of musical maturity, it's clearly visible by the musical architecture they present us with "Paradise of Putrefaction", a band who probably will set also a mark in Polish Black Metal grounds.
The album is quite uniform in quality but still need to mention some highlights like "The Last Ray of Light", "Your Weakness - Our Victory", "Paradise of Putrefaction" and "Ancient Knowledge" and who reveal Enclave darkest essence at best. The title track is quite addicting and reveals Enclave art at best!
Enclave are a band who reinvent classical Black Metal without turning themselves into a usual Symphonic/Melodic Black Metal, once you listen to their furious, terrorizing and "Dantesque" creations you understand what I mean here, a step forwards in the typical Black Metal Evolution. An Album for Adepts of Black Metal who want more than rough sound and howls to the Dark Lord. For adepts of Dark Funeral(SW), Endstille(GER), old-Dimmu Borgir(NOR) (Stormblast time at most), Misteltein/Fall of Serafim(SW), Nëhëmah(FR).
A great debut for this Polish band, catching our Metal attention already and making us aware of another good Polish Band to emerge into this Metal Grounds.

Cracow – called as a city of 100 churches, so wish least catholic extremists. I have different idea. Cracow – 100% black metal city. Well, maybe it is too much to say, but let me reference to the name of the band, which review You are reading now, and to say that Cracow is the enclave of black metal in clericalised Poland.
I'm just after listen to the debut album of Enclave – "Paradise Of Putrefaction" and I can not make myself in one piece. Recently, I am such lucky bastard, and I make reviews of the bands, that are correct at least. Those words are for this people, who think that even a potato exciting me (but, from the other side, isn't potato really raw and underground, hehe?). Enclave makes this good situation constance. That, what had represented to us those six guys from Cracow, exerted a huge impression on me. Label called their music as mystic black metal. I am an ignorant of mysticism, but I can say that dark atmosphere of "Paradise Of Putrefaction" is palpable. It is also able to feel quite big influences of old Emperor, early Enslaved or Mayhem from their "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" period. But advantage of Enclave is that, we cannot point by finger at some riff and shout: I know that, they ripped it off from "Night Of The Graveless Souls"! or Ha! It is copied from "Funeral Fog"!. But for sure You will shout: Fuck! What a great black metal with such climate and balls!!! The band is moving on in whole spectrum of tempos: from slow moments like in "My Majesty", with grim and hanged-man-like entrance of guitar, to fast attack in vein of "Ancient Knowledge". Keyboards used in the background augments the atmosphere of this record, but it move forward on the foreground very seldom. And even if, it is only gloomy interrupt. Vocal of Xuchilbara's Will also fix my attention. His voice sounds like he would has some psychical problems – maybe not such big problems like for example Attila, but for sure, he wouldn't find a job in kindergarten, hehe. Above all seven tracks of the Enclave's first album, there's hover really funeral – pessimistic aura, made by really interesting sound (greetings from Chinook Studio in D?bica) and it is adequate to front cover of "Paradise Of Putrefaction". And in my opinion, it's strange, that none of polish labels didn't interest in Enclave. But Skabardas – boss of Inferna Profundus Records – for sure doesn't complain on such fact and he could be proud of having such good band under wings of his label.
Enclave was recorded great album, and I hope that, it will by duly appreciate. And I know also that will be my power – play during the festival of gluttony and idleness, hypocritically calles as Easter, and obviously for a long time after that!
